Cat Collection 2021-2024

At the end of 2020, Tina and I began the process of divorcing. As far as the cats were concerned, this would involve the decision as to who would go with whom. It wasn’t a hard choice, and I was to take Arun, and Tsegi and Mosi could stay together with Tina. Moreover, Pink would also stay with Tina, because she was quite attached to him too.

I moved to my own place in April 2021, and I got to have all the cats stay at my place for a bit while the realtor showed the house. Once they returned to be with Tina, Arun began to get used to being on his own with me. That didn’t take long because he’s a very snuggly kitty who needs lots of love and attention, and since he was the only cat in the house, he did indeed get lots of love and attention.

Around September 2023, a small mostly black cat showed up. I figured it had a home after I offered her some food, and she didn’t take up my offer. A little bit later, she showed up with a collar with a name on it, Boots. So now I knew the name of this friendly neighborhood kitty. She still shows up from time to time, and is always friendly and wants to say hi to me.

Arun, on the other hand, is not happy to see Boots, or any of the other neighborhood kitties, and gives all of them his best “just die now” stare from the safety of the front windows. This is one of the reasons why I doubt I’ll get another cat, one of the other ones being that my place is pretty small.

I’ve cut off this page at the end of 2024, which is when I resurrected my website, and got the WordPress blogging software installed.
