I took a hike up to Lake Louise this morning. I started down in the village and took the Tramline Trail which about 4 km to the lakeshore.

The trail was very quiet but once I reached the lake, I saw the masses of tourists lining up to take the same photos of the lake that I was hoping to take. There was a lot of smoke in the air so I didn’t get the best pictures, but the lake was beautiful as always.

There were some hikers in the crowds who were looking like they were heading on to other trails, so that was nice to see.

I headed down along the Louise Creek Trail and enjoyed lack of crowds and the sound of the creek alongside the trail. Overall, a lovely hike.
