A bit of a transition day, as we only had to do ~80km with no real climbing. Rain was on the menu though, but we started off with a little bit of sun.
We rode along a busier than usual road for a while, although the drivers were patient and courteous for the most part. I could catch glimpses of snow on the higher part of the hills that rose up on both sides of the road.
There were a few short rain showers along the way, with the sun threatening to break out in between them. With a short day such as this, it wasn’t long before we reached the finish in Fort William.
Overall, a pleasant day on the bike, and now we have a rest day ahead of us. Perhaps there will be a visit to the Ben Nevis distillery.

Check out the website for the Gatelodge. It looks super cute
