Not exactly Liverpool, as noted from yesterday’s ride, but across the River Mersey. Today was a short day so we could get some chores done or go look around Liverpool.

It was another clear warm sunny day, and even though the day was short, we had to climb one last steep Welsh hill. Thanks for that Wales, and your unpronounceable names.

At least the climbs came early and it was a pleasant and easy ride to lunch by the river.

As noted, it’s nice to have a short day like today to relax a little before the tour continues. Tomorrow we’re on our own for most of the day before catching the ferry to the Isle of Man late in the afternoon.

I still got to pass through nicely forested roads today
