Our second day in Wales and one with the most climbing we’ve done so far. Our route took us through Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, and over two passes.

The first one was before lunch and was relatively straightforward, and not overly steep. The second pass featured a climb with 25% grades for a section. Definitely not an easy day!

After the climbs, we still got to “enjoy” the rolling roads as we headed towards Aberystwyth and the ocean.

The weather was great today with nice temperatures and plenty of sun. Tomorrow we continue our journey through more of the hills of Wales.
