Stonehenge! Woodhenge! Sheephenge! All the henges! Who knew that there were so many henges here.

Today’s ride did feature the first two of those. Quite special to see the stones in person. Then we took a short leg to the south before continuing northwest towards Bristol.

As is about normal for this tour, we travelled on many small country roads, seeing sheep and such along the way.

I managed to get a flat along the way and was having difficulty in removing the sharp. I remembered that I was carrying a spare tire, so I switched out the faulty tire for that and was fine for the rest of the day.

We rode through Bath where we stopped for coffee. On the way in and the way out of Bath, we were treated to riding on trails converted from old railway tracks. There was a section of that that was through a rather long tunnel. Overall, a fine way to get around.

Our luck with the rain ran out as I approached Bristol, and I “enjoyed” a rather heavy rain shower. Fortunately, the fenders kept a lot of the spray away from my feet and back, although the chain will still need a bit of work.

Tomorrow is a rest day so time to catch up on laundry and such before the next block of days coming up.
